American comedian Druski has sparked controversy after appearing to draw inspiration from Erika Kirk for a new video that has already racked up over 58 million views.
Druski has previously faced backlash in his career, even asking fans if he had been “canceled” after wearing a NASCAR costume featuring white skin, a beard, light hair, and American flag tattoos. He described that look as portraying a “guy who is just proud to be American.”
Now, he’s once again stirring debate with a new character titled “Conservative Woman.” In the skit, Druski appears with white makeup, a long blonde wig, and detailed facial cosmetics.
The comedian, whose real name is Drew Desbordes, shared the video across multiple social media platforms on March 25, describing it as a portrayal of “how conservative women in America act.” Viewers quickly pointed out similarities between his character and Erika Kirk.
In one moment, Druski appears to echo a clip of Kirk speaking about prayer. In her video, she says, “We said our prayer, and we asked the Lord to protect us,” while Druski delivers a similar line directly to the camera: “I serve a righteous God, and that is why we say our prayers.”
Other scenes show him dancing to Katy Perry’s “California Gurls,” visiting a drive-through with a small dog, and ordering drinks like a “sweet cream foam iced chai matcha” along with an “organic pup cup.”
Reactions have been mixed. Some viewers found the skit humorous, while others strongly criticized it. One user wrote, “Who even likes these skits? This not even funny,” while another called the video “disgusting” and accused Druski of mocking Christianity.
Despite the backlash, Druski has reposted several positive reactions, including one user calling it his “most diabolical skit yet.”
Meanwhile, one social media user asked an AI chatbot to identify the character in the video. The bot mistakenly responded that it was Erika Kirk herself, describing her as an actress in the skit.
As of March 26, Erika Kirk has not publicly responded, though some users have been sharing clips of her original videos that appear to have inspired Druski’s performance.
